two2seven works across a range of techniques. Some pieces are dyed. Some carry pigment or paint. Some have hardware torched to color. Each piece draws on its own mix, and no two are alike.
The process
Every piece of hardware is torched in the studio. The temperature dictates the color. Straw at the low end, gunmetal at the high end. The oxide layer is permanent once it sets.
