Heat spectrum on torched steel, straw through forge

About

two2seven

two2seven is a one-person studio in Bushwick, Brooklyn, making leather and chain accessories with heat-tempered steel hardware. The name comes from the seven-band color spectrum that appears on steel as it is heated — from pale straw at 200°C to forged black past 320°C.

Every piece is cut, riveted, and torched by hand. No thread, no stitching. Hardware holds the leather together: rivets, snaps, grommets, O-rings. Each piece is numbered and dated.

Pieces are made to order. Sold pieces can be recreated. Custom leather and hardware combinations on request.
